Sire: Red-Dawn Aiden, CD RN OJP NAP CGC Dam: C-Horse Jolie Four is the most layed back border collie I have ever known, but trust me, when it is time to go to work, she knows how to “turn on the speed.” Her sire is from imported lines and is producing pups that are intelligent, with lots of drive, yet still have a big turn off switch. She has several siblings that are also doing well in both agility and herding. Four is currently competing in Agility. She is showing great potential and will have a fabulous career.
Four is an extremely serious dog. She gets along well with other dogs and people, and is never pushy for attention. She enjoys sitting and being scratched or chewing on a bone, but always willing to let the others take the limelight, while she’s hangs back. Four is intense on sheep. She is all business when she is working sheep, and would probably work herself to death if you let her. Four loves agility and for a dog that lies around the house most the day, it is hard to believe how much speed she has on the course. Four has always had a very correct jumping style and she just flows across the course effortlessly. She can be full of drive on the course one minute, then turn around and quietly lay outside the ring, while the other dogs run. When I don’t make any mistakes and we can actually ‘Q” she always places in the top 3 dogs, in Exc B. She is an easy dog to be around, sometimes I wonder if she is really just a golden retriever in border collie clothes!! She also has some rare talents, such as picking ripe raspberries off the raspberry bush without even getting poked. | ||||||||||
